So hello lovely ladies....

This is just a vent ...

I was at work the other day and on my shift with two other men and the conversation went from kids, business projections, education then to “Don’t you want a man?” I am a single mother to an awesome daughter and I truly grateful to have the presence and support of my mother here with me in Japan. Also a college grad.

It’s like dudes be impressed but be like “you should get a guy”

I am like for what? Dick? The way my “lifestyle” is set up wake up at 530 get me and the princess out the door by 640, drop her off at school then go to work get off at 5:30pm, start dinner, wash the princess, help her with homework, ready her a book then put her to bed and by that time it’s 930pm....

Don’t get me wrong I enjoy dating. I am all about being focused on my parenting. I think it would be a disservice to my child if I take the little time I have off work to devote to anyone else but her.

We are in a new era of womanhood, we are more self sufficient, empowered and independent. Being in a relationship or not in one shouldn’t matter.
