April 2019 my 24 yr old sister passed tragically on her birthday, on her honeymoon, and on our first family vacation to our home country Jamaica.
Me and my sis bickered like siblings do but she was one of my best friends.
We lost custody of her two kids, kids I raised, December 2019. I haven’t seen or hear their voice since.
Fast forward to now. My Mother wants to have a family photo with my kids and my two brothers.
I’m trying to be a good sport. But I don’t want to do it. I’m not ready.
My Mother in no way ,shape, or form will even try to understand I don’t want to do it.
I’m just not ready. 馃槶
